Two Arrested on Murder Charges
Two men are under arrest on murder charges following a shooting in Covington on Monday.

Erik Tucker, 23, and Reginald Ealy, 22, are in the Kenton County Detention Center where each is charged with murder. They were booked in the early hours of Tuesday.
Covington Police identified the victim as Randolph Hughes, 30, of Covington. Widespread comments on social media sites, including The River City News Facebook page, indicate that the man went by the nickname "Noodles".
He was shot and killed on the 300 block of East 13th Street, suffering wounds to one of his arms and the left side of his chest. Police Chief Spike Jones stated in a news release that the suspects were later found in Florence. He and Commonwealth's Attorney Rob Sanders will speak to the media later on Tuesday afternoon.
Tucker and Ealy were arraigned in Kenton District Court on Tuesday morning where each entered a plea of not guilty. Judge Ann Ruttle ordered that both be held without bond. They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, September 2, at 1:30 p.m.
