Man Accused of Breaking Into Grandfather's Home, Pistol-Whipping Uncle While in Possession of Drugs
A Covington man is behind bars in Boone County where the sheriff's department has accused him of breaking into his grandfather's house and pistol whipping his uncle.
Christianne Cochran, 20, is charged with first degree burglary, first degree robbery, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of an unspecified drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to deputies, Cochran went to his grandfather's home Monday on Old Stephenson Mill Road to get $100 from his father who was there with the uncle and grandfather. A news release said that Cochran was told to wait outside while his father was to locate the money. Instead, deputies say, Cochran kicked in the front door and assaulted his uncle with an airsoft pistol as he approached.
The elder Cochrans tackled him until deputies arrived.
Cochran's address is on Horizon Circle in South Covington.
