This Young Man Just Took Over the Family Business -- Wait Till You See What He Did to the Office
The company was founded in 1979, well before its new CEO was born.
Jolly Plumbing is celebrating a change in leadership and a new location.
Founder Barry Jolly has handed over the reins to his son, Brady Jolly, a recent graduate of Northern Kentucky University. Brady was a standout basketball player at Campbell County High School from where he graduated in 2010, and then went on to play for the Norse in Highland Heights.
Barry Jolly retired in May and Brady has been running the company since, the company said in a news release sent out on Thursday.
Jolly Plumbing is on track for a record year and sales have skyrocketed, the news release said. Plus, the company has moved to a new facility in Wilder, tripling the size of its workspace. It has a full-size basketball court that is integrated into the office floor plan. The office's lobby has a unique industrial style with contemporary features like a spiral staircase, a logo embossed floor, and stone walls.
Brady Jolly graduated from NKU with a degree in entrepreneurship. He is using his experience in business and basketball to establish the culture at Jolly Plumbing. "Our new facility was designed to create a team atmosphere," Jolly said. "Having a full-court basketball floor inside our office is awesome, and helps create a fun, enjoyable place to work."
The public can get an inside look at Jolly Plumbing's new facility during an open house scheduled for Friday, October 24, from 2 - 6 p.m. The facility is located at 11 Beacon Drive in Wilder.
B-105 will broadcast from Jolly Plumbing that afternoon offering giveaways and contests. Children are welcome.
