These Northern Kentucky Cities are Among America's Best Suburbs
Business Insider put together a list of the fifty best suburbs in the country and three Northern Kentucky cities are on the list.
The publication evaluated 300 suburbs with populations between 5,000 and 100,000 and within 40 kilometers of the nearest metropolitan area. Commute times, household incomes, schools, crime rate, poverty, and housing affordability were all factors.
Edgewood came in at #34, with its 8,575 people and their $85,000 median household income, and a Great Schools score of 8.
Fort Thomas came in at #29. Its schools scored a 10 and its 16,000 residents have a median household income of $60,500.
The highest rated city in Northern Kentucky was Villa Hills, though, which clocked in at #7. Its Great Schools score was 7 and its 7,400 residents have a median household income of more than $87,000.
Other Cincinnati-area suburbs on the list on the other side of the Ohio River include Montgomery and Wyoming.
