Sports Briefs: Thomas More Ranked High for Cumulative Sports Achievements

Thomas More College is ranked 19th in the NCAA Division III Leafield Sports Directors' Cup Standings thanks to six fall NCAA Championships.
The Learfield Sports Directors' Cup was created by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and the USA Today. Points are given based on each schools' finish in up to 18 sports, nine for both men and women.
The Saints made it to the NCAA Championships in three fall sports and finished fifth in women's, 17th in men's soccer and 17th in volleyball to earn 173 points. Over 430 colleges and universites in NCAA Division III are eligible to earn points in the standings.
Thomas More is the highest ranked school in the Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC).
