Tuition Freeze at Thomas More College
Thomas More College announced Thursday that there will be no tuition increase for the 2015-2016 academic year.
Additionally, there will be no increase for room and board.
Students were informed of this announcement through an email from President David A. Armstrong, J.D.
“In an effort to make a values-based private education affordable to as many students as possible, we have made this important decision,” Armstrong said. “We continually strive to do what is necessary to reduce costs for our students.”
Annual tuition increases are typical for colleges and universities, but by making this decision Thomas More College sets itself apart in an industry where all institutions must find creative ways to weather the higher education climate, a news release said.
At the start of the fall 2014 semester, Thomas More College welcomed one of its largest classes of incoming students and its highest number of students living on campus.
