Here's How Covington's Braxton Brewery Will Distribute Its Beer in Kentucky & Ohio
Braxton Brewing Company, the ambitious beer business opening in the former Covington Arts building that recently set a Kickstarter record for fundraising, has signed a distribution deal with a company that will take its product throughout Kentucky and Ohio.
CEO Jake Rouse announced Tuesday that Braxton has a partnership with Cincinnati-based Stagnaro Distributing.
"Choosing a distributor is hands down one of the most important decisions we'll make as a company," Rouse said. "We evaluated the market, interviewing severa suppliers and it was clear that Stagnaro's commitment to customer service, understanding the craft beer category, involvement in the community, and appetite for innovation directly align with our goals at Braxton Brewing Company."
Distribution will begin once the brewery is open, Rouse said. Initial distribution will be 1/2-barrel and 1/6-barrel kegs for draft accounts.
"We're beyond thrilled to partner with a distributor with such a longstanding history of excellence," Rouse said. "We can't wait to get beer in your hands."
Stagnaro Distributing is a leading craft and import beer distributor servicing more than 3,000 retailers in 25 countries in southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky, according to a news release. "We are proud and excited to be partnering with the Braxton Brewing Company," said Stagnaro CEO Mike Stagnaro. "It is great to see a local, craft brewery open up that Northern Kentucky can finally call its own."
