3 Mitchells Arrested After Car is Shot Up in City Heights

A late night shooting in Covington ended with three Mitchells behind bars.

Covington Police were called to City Heights just after midnight on Monday after receiving reports of shots being fired. Officers discovered a vehicle with bullet holes in one of the parking lots there.

A short distance away on Highland Avenue, police stopped a vehicle with three suspects inside.

Charles Mitchell, 30, pictured above right, is charged with first degree wanton endangerment, first degree criminal mischief, receiving stolen property (firearm), and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is being held on $2,500 cash bond.

Keith Mitchell, 49, pictured above left, is charged with first degree wanton endangerment, first degree criminal mischief, and receiving stolen property (annyhdrous ammonia). He is being held on $2,500 cash bond.

Jerome Mitchell, 29, is charged with first degree wanton endangerment, first degree criminal mischief, and receiving stolen property (firearm). He is being held on $2,500 bond.

The Mitchells are scheduled to appear in court on March 24 at 1:30 p.m.
