Florence O'Charley's Unveils New Look, Updated Menu
The O’Charley’s location in Florence, Kentucky on Turfway Road is among several restaurants nationwide to undergo a revitalization and reimaging plan that features refurbished store interiors and exteriors, a new brand mark and updated menu items.
O’Charley’s will offer the first 100 guests a free $9.99er meal on Friday, April 10 to celebrate the reopening. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. Options include O’Charley’s Famous Chicken Tenders & Twisted Chips and Bayou Shrimp Pasta and Chicken Fried Steak, among other meals. This is only available at the 7414 Turfway Road in Florence.
The new identity of the restaurant derives inspiration from the approach of Charley Watkins, the man who founded O’Charley’s, and will be encapsulated in the following Watkins quote prominently featured at all O’Charley’s entrances: “Everyone who walks through this door is a friend of mine.” The quote’s attitude will be born out in the new visual identity and updated menu as well as in the welcoming layout and openness of the new floor plan.
“We’re so proud to be part of this community, and I can’t think of a better restaurant staff and town to go through this remodel with,” said Scott Rider, General Manager of the Florence O’Charley’s. “Our loyal guests have been dining at this location for several years and I am confident they will love the new look and feel, as well as the new menu items.”
Inside the recently-renovated O’Charley’s, guests will find a more expansive floor plan as walls have been removed to clear lines of sight as well as expose the bar area. More booths enhance patrons’ comfort and more flexible floor space will accommodate larger parties. The updated restaurant also features a signature O-shaped booth by the entrance.
Along with the redesigned décor, the updated O’Charley’s menu introduces unique takes on unmistakably American items, such as Southern-Style Crispy Pickle Chips, Classic French Dip and O’Charley’s Famous Chicken Tenders. The restaurant will also feature Prime Rib Lovers’ Weekend for Two, featuring two half-pound cuts of the popular Slow-Roasted Prime Rib, two sides and an appetizer to share, all for one low price. New items have been added to O’Charley’s Sunday Brunch menu, such as Eggs Benedict and omelets.
Guests will also continue to enjoy Free Pie Wednesday in the remodeled restaurant. With the purchase of any entrée, guests are treated to a free slice of pie, choosing from signature pies such as Double-Crust Peach, Southern Pecan, French Silk, Country Apple and Ooey Gooey Caramel. O’Charley’s restaurants bake fruit pies and freshly prepare their own whipping cream in-house every day.
The Florence location is one of several restaurants nationwide to receive a full reimagination of the classic, casual dining experience the Nashville-based restaurant chain has been serving the American dining public since 1971. The comprehensive O’Charley’s revitalization plan was orchestrated by new leadership at American Blue Ribbon Holdings, who acquired the restaurant chain in May of 2012.
