Braxton Brewing Co. Launches First-Of-Its-Kind Mobile App
This morning, Braxton Brewing Company announced the release of their industry-leading mobile application. The app serves as the first version of a platform making it easier for fans to find Braxton beer and learn more about the beers. The app also features integrations with personal car service Uber and popular craft beer social network Untappd. The app can now be downloaded in the Apple App Store, and is working on plans to launch an Android-friendly app in the future.
“This app is the culmination of months of work and we’re beyond thrilled to announce that its finally live," said Jake Rouse, Braxton’s co-founder and CEO. “We spent countless hours determining ways to improve the craft beer experience and feel this first version is a great step in doing just that”
The brewery partnered with New Coast Ventures, a Chicago firm with ties to Cincinnati’s Brandery, to build the industry-leading application.

The application’s home screen pulls relevant news and events. On this screen, users can quickly access “What’s on Tap” in the taproom featuring all styles and pricing for beers at Braxton. Braxton’s taproom will grow to feature 20 different selections. The mobile application will be the source for individuals to learn about Braxton’s current and past offerings.
The Braxton Brewing Co. mobile app uses smart geolocation to show the closest Braxton pint and alert you when you’re at a bar or restaurant with Braxton on tap. Each location serving Braxton and what they’re pouring can be found using the mobile app. You can also get directions to any of these places with the simple tap of a button.
The app also features two industry-first integrations. By partnering with leading social site Untappd and car service Uber, users can share their experience with Braxton beer while also having a safe ride home all in the palm of their hand.
Within Braxton’s mobile application, users have the ability to request an Uber ride home. Uber has partnered with Braxton Brewing Co. to become the official car service of the "Taproom of the Future." If a guest is a first time user, they will be prompted to enter code BRAXTON15 and will receive a free $20.00 ride.
Users may also link their Braxton Mobile Application with their Untappd account. This integration will allow users to view the Untappd feed within the Braxton application. It will also allow users to check-in to any Braxton beer location on their respective pages. These partnerships will continue to be built out as both applications evolve.
