Pair of Thomas More Lacrosse Players Named to All-Conference Team
Thomas More College sophomores Tori Liles (Tollesboro, Ky./Lewis County) and Erika LaRosa (CIncinnati, Oh./Seton) were named All-Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) by the conference’s head coaches.
Both Liles and LaRosa were honorable mention selections. Liles, an attacker, led the team in scoring with 22 points on a team-leading 22 goals. She was also second on the team in ground balls with 27, while she had 40 shots on-goal and had a 72.7 shot on-goal percentage. LaRosa, a midfielder, had four points on three goals and one assist. She led the team in ground balls with 31, while she caused a team-best 18 turnovers.
LaRosa was also named to the conference’s Sportsmanship Team.
Liles and LaRosa were members of the Saints’ inaugural women’s lacrosse team that battled until the end of the season and posted a 1-9 record, including a 1-8 mark in the ORLC.
