Naked Man Passes Out at Newport Thrift Store
A man was transported to the hospital after passing out inside the St. Vincent de Paul store on Monmouth Street in Newport.
Campbell County Dispatch sent a message over the scanner that a naked man was passed out inside one of the dressing rooms at the thrift store.
Witnesses told The River City News that the man was trying on pants when he passed out, knocked the dressing room door open, and fell to the floor inside the shop. He reportedly told emergency responders that he was diabetic, but he may have also been intoxicated as witnesses said that they could smell alcohol.
Newport Police and EMTs responded to the scene and took the man away in an ambulance. He was responsive and was sitting up.
