Gallery Hop for Start-ups Includes NKY Stops

On Thursday, July 23,  Cintrifuse and its partners will host the first ever NewCo Cincinnati event to showcase the people who are making the city a global destination for entrepreneurial success. The goal is to bridge the gap between students and young professionals who can help spur future job growth and the startups looking to hire the best and brightest local talent.

This one-day event features presentations and office tours from 50 startup companies in the Cincinnati region. Attendees get up close and personal with high-growth companies and arts organizations, and are able to choose a schedule that fits their personal interests. One event will take place in the brand new 84.51 building in downtown Cincinnati. It features a panel moderated by Fast Company and PC World writer Jared Newman, where the CEO's of Strap and Kapture will discuss the wearables market and starting up wearables companies in Cincinnati.

Here are some additional details about the event:

NewCo is like a gallery hop but for startups. Over the last three months, the organaization signed up over 75 startups and organizations in the Cincinnati region to act as host companies. Each of these companies has designed a unique experience at their place of business. The sessions are an hour long and all you have to do is get a ticket and decide which sessions you want to attend. Whether you want to network, learn more about a specific topic or hit the Cincinnati craft breweries for tastings, NewCo is a great time to get out and see what #StartupCincy has been.

NewCo Cincinnati is organized by Cintrifuse, which has a mission to develop the #startupcincy eco-system. The event is affiliated with the global NewCo organization, which organizes similar events in other cities around the world. Cincinnati takes a proud place among San Francisco, New York, Austin, Boulder, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Istanbul.

NewCo is all over the Cincinnati region from OTR, NKY, East Cincinnati, North Cincinnati and Downtown. NewCo will celebrate its kickoff on July 22 at the 84.51 building. The tour takes place on July 23. You can visit whichever startup you’d like to throughout the day. Take a look at the schedule for more information.

If you’re a student, there is a discounted price of $9. Otherwise, general admission is $15. Visit the ticketing page for more information.
