4 Killed in Ft. Wright Crash

A two-car collision killed four people in Ft. Wright on Tuesday.

The crash happened on Highland Avenue near Reeves Drive.

According to Ft. Wright Police Chief Daniel Kreinest, a car headed down the hill was spotted driving erratically before colliding with another vehicle head-on.

Kreinest said one vehicle had one occupant while three people were in the other one. All four were killed. Details about identities were not immediately available.

Highland Avenue has been closed since the crash happened at about 3 p.m. Chief Kreinest told The River City News at 4:15 p.m. that it would be hours before media could get closer to the scene of the crash.
