Photos: Beyond The Curb Goes Inside Newport's Urban Residences
The second Beyond The Curb event in Northern Kentucky's River Cities was just as successful as the first.
This time, after a big turnout in Covington last spring, the Catalytic Fund brought its urban living tour to Newport. Nearly 700 visitors took the tour and checked out newly renovated historic properties, new apartment and condo buildings, and other sites still in progress.
Featured properties included Monmouth Row, New York Lofts, Vue 18 on the Water, Southshore Condominiums, 306 Park Avenue, 404 E. 4th Street, The Hannaford, 823 Overton Street, 934 Hamlet Street, 913 Monmouth Street, 908 Columbia Street, and 1115 Isabella Street.
Highlights included a peek inside the unfinished, $3 million penthouse atop Southshore overlooking the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky riverfronts. Its massive terrace and wall of windows were breathtaking!
Future tours are planned for the other three cities served by the Catalytic Fund: Bellevue, Dayton, and Ludlow.
