DBL Law Adds New COO, Three Attorneys
DBL Law is has announced the addition of a new Chief Operating Officer, as well as three new attorneys.
Brian D. Schofield has joined the firm as COO and will provide strategic guidance in managing the firm’s day-to-day business operations and staff members. In his previous law firm management roles over the past 13 years, Schofield has managed firm accounting systems, internal controls, budgets and financial reporting.

Prior to joining the firm, Schofield served as the Controller for Taft Stettinius & Hollister.
William H. Brammell, Jr. has joined the Louisville office as an associate practicing in the white collar criminal defense and commercial litigation practice groups. His previous experience includes clerking for the Honorable Gregory F. Van Tatenhove in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, and serving the Federal Government as a Presidential Management Fellow.

Michael J. Enzweiler has joined the Crestview Hills office as an associate* practicing in the firm’s medical malpractice and civil litigation practice groups. Following graduation from the University of Louisville as a College of Business Finance Student of the Year, Enzweiler was awarded with the full tuition Chase Merit Scholarship to attend the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University where he recently graduated second in his class and will be sworn in as a member of the Ohio bar later this month.
His legal experience includes clerking for the Honorable William O. Bertelsman in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office, as well as the Campbell County Attorney’s Office.
Alexander P. Montgomery has joined the Cincinnati office as an associate practicing in the firm’s intellectual property, employment & labor, and real estate law practice groups. His experience includes working on trademark applications in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, representing clients in opposition proceedings in front of the TTAB, and advising clients on avoiding claims of copyright and trademark infringement. Montgomery has been successful in assisting employers with U.S. Department of Labor investigations, OCRC and EEOC discrimination claims and mediations, and enforcing employee breaches of non-competition agreements. He has also served as the closing agent for residential real estate transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Montgomery was an intern for the University of Cincinnati’s Intellectual Property office and NCAA Compliance office. He externed for the Honorable Judge Robert Ruehlman in the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. He is Director of Outreach for the Cincinnati Intellectual Property Law Association and has served as the President of Linkinnati, a local business referral group, for the past two years.
