NKCAC, Rekindle Looking for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Rekindle, a micro-enterprise training and support program run through the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission, is seeking people interested in starting their own business or growing their existing business.
The Pre-Business Orientation Session will be held at the Northern Kentucky Community Action at 717 Madison Avenue Street in Covington on Tuesday, December 1 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm to discuss “Are You Ready to be an Entrepreneur?" The class “Self Employment: From Dream to Reality,” will be held on Tuesday, December 8 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and runs for six weeks.
The class will be held at the main office of the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission in the evenings from 6:00 to 8:00. Topics to be covered include writing a business plan, securing financing, basic accounting, business licensing, branding, and marketing.
“It is so exciting to see a group of people working toward their dream,” said Ella Frye, director of Rekindle. Frye says her favorite part is watching people find a new future and that by the time a participant successfully completes the program, she is confident that they will have all the tools necessary to open and sustain their business.
The Registration deadline is November 25.
