Covington to Celebrate Company's Relocation to RiverCenter

The City of Covington will celebrate the arrival of a company's headquarters this week.

There will be a ribbon-cutting at the new officers of Pro Mach in the River Center towers on Wednesday afternoon.

Pro Mach is a leading provider of integrated packaging products and solutions for food, beverage, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, and other companies. Pro Mach customers include all of the Fortune 500 food, beverage, and consumer goods companies as well as other leading companies worldwide.

Pro Mach is a one of the largest packaging machinery companies in North America and is rapidly growing, making the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies five times. They have manufacturing facilities and sales offices throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
The company is relocating from Loveland.
"The Covington area is just a great place to do business. The properties, the people, the food, the views - it has everything we wanted as we continue to grow our business and we're proud to now call Covington home," said Robin Iredale of Pro Mach, in a statement.
In August, the Covington City Commission approved incentives for the company, including payroll tax rebate and 35 parking spaces in the RiverCenter parking garage, which is owned by the city.

Pro Mach is expected to occupy 10,000 sq. ft.

According to Covington economic development manager Geoff Milz, Pro Mach opted to move to Covington based on the location and the incentive package.
