NKY Stray Adoption Program Receives $50K Grant from Petco Foundation

Newport-based Stray Animal Adoption Program recently received a $50,000 grant award to support continuation of their lifesaving work from the Petco Foundation.

The Petco Foundation’s grant investment will allow the Stray Animal Adoption Program to rescue 1,250 at‐risk pets in the Tri‐State Area and will enable them to place these animals into adoptive forever homes. The Stray Animal Adoption Program is grateful for the continued support of the Petco Foundation, which has significantly contributed towards their record‐breaking year of placing over 3,400 animals into loving, adoptive families.

If you are interested in saving a life by adopting an at‐risk pet, please visit the Stray Animal Adoption  Program’s weekly adoption events, held on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at one of three Petco stores, located at 7769 Five Mile Road, Cincinnati, OH 45230; 3459 Valley Highway Plaza Parkway, Fort Wright, KY 41017; or 8825 Winton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
