Bishop Brossart to Roll Out New Fundraising Initiative
Bishop Brossart High School has announced plans to roll out a new fundraising initiative.
This plan, the "One For All" initiative, will allow our business partners, located within the Bishop Brossart High School district boundaries, as well as businesses with ties to the school, to make a single, annual donation that will provide pro-rated support to all of our school community sports and activities.
Each year’s support period will run through the fiscal year – from July 1 through June 31 annually in conjunction with that specific school year.
The school is offering four separate giving levels with appropriate perks and benefits befitting the donation received. Flexible, customized plans will be offered to allow any business with special support interests to continue to associate themselves with a particular sport or activity.
Longtime Brossart High School coach and supporter, Dave Schabell will chair the project with support from the staff and administration of the high school.
Solicitations from past business benefactors will begin immediately, followed by a campaign to enlist the backing of the general business community.
"We look forward to the business community partnering with us in this initiative that has the potential to increase our overall fundraising dollars, simplify the donation process, and improve overall system organization," said Principal Dan Ridder.
The Bishop Brossart school district encompasses the parish boundaries of St. Joesph, Camp Springs; St. Joseph, Cold Spring; St. John, Wilder; St. Philip, Melbourne; and St. Mary, Alexandria. Activities covered under this support blanket include, annual golf outings, Emerald Gala, Hall of Fame Dinner, performances in the Munninghoff Family Theater, and each sports and sports support (cheerleading) entity.
