Spring Donation Drive Planned for Kenton Co. Animal Shelter
The Kenton County Animal Shelter is partnering with Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity from Northern Kentucky University to host a Spring Donation Drive at the shelter on March 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The shelter is in need of paper towels, animal treats, animal food, IAMS kitten food, pill pockets and gently used towels, blankets, comforters, brooms, leashes, collars and animal toys.
“The donation drive enables our animals and staff to have access to items that we use on a daily basis that are essential for us to operate,” said Kenton County Animal Shelter Director Elizabeth Cochran. “The items we collect help empower us to meet the needs of the animals at the shelter.”
Those wishing to donate should come by the Kenton County Animal Shelter, located at 1020 Mary Laidley Drive in Fort Mitchell. For further questions, please call 859-356-7400.
“We are so appreciative when our community is able to come together and make a difference for these animals,” Cochran said.
