Covington Woman Killed in Southern Kenton Crash
A Covington woman is dead after a single car crash in southern Kenton County.
Connie Neaves, 49, died when her 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee drifted from KY 17, rolled over, and struck a utility pole. Kenton County Police say that Neaves was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident happened just past 11 p.m. on Sunday.
Neaves' daughter, Dawnita Neaves, was also in the vehicle and suffered minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
Police said in a news release that neither speed nor intoxication are believed to have played a role in the crash.
