Are You Ready to Rock?! Rivercity Music Fest Returns to Dayton, KY!
It has been more than 15 years since the last Rivercity Music Fest rocked the Dayton riverfront, but on June 18, Rivercity Music Fest II will draw hundreds to Gil Lynn Park.
Hosted by the Dayton Civic Activities Board and the Dayton Park Board, all the proceeds will benefit Dayton Youth Football, Baseball, and Cheerleading. It's $5 for adults, $3 for kids, and $12 for families.
The event kicks off at 2 p.m. and rocks till midnight with bands like Decoy, Me Without My Bike, Lee Searcy - Acoustics, Overdrive, Hoggleger, Johnny and the Lugnuts, Badge, Hurricane, D.M.T., and Strange Brew.
For more information, check out the Facebook event page.
Organizer Tammy Cornett and Dayton City Councilman Jerry Gifford - known locally as the power vocalist behind Strange Brew and who was profiled at The River City News when his 1980's power ballad tribute to the Cincinnati Bengals was rediscovered - join RCN's Michael Monks to talk about this year's Rivercity Music Fest.
