Bellevue Street Fair Set for June 18
Bellevue’s Historic Fairfield Avenue Business District will hold a street fair from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18. The event will include retailer sidewalk sales, restaurant specials and lots of visiting vendors. This event is part of Bellevue’s City-Wide Flea, a giant community yard sale with Bellevue residents and merchants alike participating.
Setting up their booths beneath tents along Fairfield Avenue will be vendors, including Damsel in Defense, which sells women’s personal security and protective gear, including stun guns, pepper sprays, concealed-carry purses and emergency gear; Stella and Dot, boutique-style jewelry and accessories lines, one-of-a-kind collections designed by celebrated New York designers; and Clever Girls Boutique, quality hand-crafted hair bows and accessories made in the USA “for the princess in your life.”
Also setting up on Fairfield Avenue will be A Touch of Bluegrass, featuring custom furniture and home décor handcrafted from reclaimed barn wood; J & E Craft Boutique with handmade wood creations; and Coda Co., showing its rustic handmade home décor.
Other Street Fair vendors are Stitches and Sass, featuring baby and pet quilts, baby bibs and quilt-trimmed teething rings and more; Origami Owl with its array of customizable jewelry; and Snap Collection, snap-on interchangeable jewelry.
Tastefully Simple, a home tasting company, will also be on hand to demo easy-to-prepare foods and gifts that require two items or fewer to make.
Guests are encouraged to bring their mad money to Bellevue and be prepared to haggle over great City-Wide Flea finds, see product demonstrations on Fairfield Avenue at the Street Fair vendor booths, pick up some great merchandise from the merchants of Fairfield Avenue and enjoy bakery goodies and delicious breakfast and lunch fare from Fairfield Avenue restaurants.
