Heat, Humidity May Be Joined by Severe Thunderstorms, but Weekend Looks Great!

It's gonna be warm on Wednesday and thunderstorms may join the warm front moving through Northern Kentucky.

The National Weather Service stated that some of these storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail. The NWS also said that the anticipated large amount of rainfall could bring the potential for flooding on Wednesday afternoon and night.

While we expect a high temperature of 89 on Wednesday, the increased humidity could push the heat index into the mid to upper 90s this afternoon.

Improved weather conditions arrive for the weekend. On Thursday, expect a high of 89 with partly cloudy skies and a lower chance for storms. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 82. We're clear on Friday night with a low near 63.

On Saturday, the NWS predicts sunny skies with a daytime high of 85, then clear skies overnight with a low at 63.

It's hotter summer weather on Sunday with sunshine and a high near 89.
