Holy Cross Senior Selected for Elite Football Game
A Holy Cross football player will appear on the field in the 2017 Blue/Grey All-American Bowl.
Senior Kyle Schirman competed in the All-American regional combines this year and was selected for the January 14, 2017 event from 6,750 players who competed. The game is played each year at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida, home of the NFL's Jaguars.
Schirman plays defensive end, center, and offensive guard. He has started for two years on both sides of the football. Schirman stands at 6'3", weighs 217 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.85 seconds.
He lives in Verona with his parents, Tom and Tara Schirman, and brother Landon, a 5th grader at Walton-Verona Middle School.
