This article and video contain adult language, as transcribed from the video.
It starts out like any transaction at a gas station.
"How you doing today?," the clerk asks.
"Hey how's it going?," the man, entering, responds.
And then it becomes every clerk's nightmare.
The man reaches into his waist and produces the shape of what appears to be a gun - though it is concealed behind his shirt.
"Give me your fucking money right now," the man says, quietly and calmly. The clerk takes a step back, afraid. "Give me the money out of the register, let's go right now. Hurry the fuck up."
The clerk empties the register of cash and begins to hand it to the man.
"Let's go. Hurry up, come on," the man continues. And when all the money is in his hands, the man leaves. The clerk hits the button to alert police of the robbery.
This was a scene that played out Friday afternoon at the Shell gas station at 413 Buttermilk Pike in Ft. Mitchell. Now police are looking for the robber, a white male who stands 6-feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing black and white Nike shoes and a camouflage hat, blue shirt, and a black shirt over his face.
Police believe that the suspect may be connected to similar robberies in Florence, Erlanger, and Ft. Wright.
Ft. Mitchell Police stated in a news release that the reason the surveillance video was released with the adult language is so that someone may be able to recognize the suspect's voice.
Anyone with information about the suspect or robberies is asked to contact Detective Mike Gross at [email protected] or to call Kenton County 911 at 859.356.3191. Those with information can remain anonymous.
