Photos: Police from All Over Campbell Co. Brighten Christmas for Kids

Christmas came early for some special local kids thanks to police officers from all over Campbell County.

The Campbell County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #10 organized its 2016 Cops and Kids event on Saturday morning, starting at Meijer in Cold Spring. That's where kids and cops alike enjoyed donuts and then went shopping together. Afterwards, the group went to the Wilder city building where gifts were wrapped and pictures with Santa Claus were taken.

Fifty kids from all over the county were joined by officers and deputies from police departments in Aexandria, Bellevue, Cold Spring, Dayton, Ft. Thomas, Highland Heights, Southgate, Wilder, and Northern Kentucky University and Campbell County Police Departments, the Campbell County Sheriff's Office, and the Campbell County Detention Center.

In addition to the fifty kids on hand, the officers shopped for children at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Shriners Burn Institute, and Holly Hill Children's Home.

RCN's Patricia A. Scheyer joined the officers on the occasion and produced the slideshow below.
