For Second Time in a Week, a Vehicle Smashes Into Dayton Business
A vehicle crashed into a business in Dayton for the second time in six days.
This time, an SUV smashed the front wall of Smitty's Bar at 201 Sixth Avenue.
Official details are scant, but some witnesses described on social media a scene in which the driver left a nearby gas station and then crashed into the bar. That driver was taken to the hospital unconscious, according to witnesses.
On Thursday, a truck crashed into Hansman's Corner Market & Deli at the corner of Sixth and Clay Street. In that instance, the driver's foot became lodged between the gas pedal and the brake.
