In dramatic fashion, the Scott Eagles earned their first trip to the Kentucky Sweet 16 since 1989, and for the first time as a member of the 10th Region.
Scott beat Campbell County, 78 to 77, on a last-second desperation three-point shot by star player Jake Ohmer.

Campbell County (30-5) was the top team in the region, but the feisty Eagles (21-12) surged at the right time and are headed to Rupp Arena for next week's state tournament.
The City of Taylor Mill honored the hometown boys on Wednesday night, and Mayor Dan Bell proclaimed March 15 to be Scott Eagles Spirit Day in the city. A rally is planned for Tuesday, March 14, at 6 p.m. at the school.
Scott plays Harlan County (31-3) at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
