Covington Latin Student Scores Perfect 36 on ACT
A student at Covington Latin School scored a perfect 36 on the ACT, the test's highest possible score.
“I had been working very hard to get my math score up and I am so happy that the hard work paid off,” said Sean Longbrake, 15, a senior at the school.
In addition to his perfect ACT composite score, Longbrake was also recently named a National Merit semifinalist. He has won numerous awards in national Latin competitions, and is also involved in the debate team, Junior Classical League, and the National Honor Society.
Along with this distinction, Longbrake was also recently named as a National Merit Semi-Finalist. He has
also won numerous awards in national Latin competitions.
Longbrake is the president of the Literary Guild and History Club.
"Beyond his formidable intellect and considerable academic achievements, he couldn't be a more humble, kind-hearted, good-natured student - the kind of quality individual who you can't help but root for," said Covington Latin Headmaster Jason Huther. "We applaud his spectacular achievement."
