14 Indicted on Drug Charges in Grant County After 6-Month Investigation
Fourteen people face charges related to drug trafficking after a six-month investigation by Kentucky State Police in Grant County.
KSP Post 6 in Dry Ridge reported this week that troopers and detectives attempted to serve indictments to fourteen people accused of trafficking in heroin and methamphetamine. Some of that heroin purchased by undercover detectives was also allegedly laced with the powerful and deadly synthetic opiate fentanyl.
Eight people were located while investigators continue to look for six more.
Two other people were arrested for drug-related offenses while the indictments were being served.
