Reds Postpone Opening Day to Friday
The Cincinnati Reds will postpone Opening Day till Friday.
The annual celebration and start of the baseball season was supposed to take place on Thursday, but the rainy forecast prompted the change.
The Reds will play the Nationals on Friday at 4:10 p.m.
The team said that any fans holding tickets for Thursday's game will be admitted Friday with no exchange necessary.
If fans holding tickets for Thursday's game cannot attend Friday, those tickets can be exchanged for another regular season home game, the team said, subject to availability.
Events surrounding the first game of the season in Cincinnati will happen at the same times, but on Friday instead of Thursday. The Opening Day Parade is set for Monday, April 2.
