Independence Man Accused of Making Threats Against NKY Schools
A man is in jail accused of making threats against Northern Kentucky schools.
Billy Jones, Jr., 19, of Independence, was arrested at an apartment in Florence, according to police.
He was charged with terroristic threatening and is being held on $100,000 bond.
According to a news release, Jones allegedly made explicit threats, though he did not target any specific school.
During Jones's arrest, police also found a handgun that had been reported stolen in Campbellsburg, Ky.
