Additional Date Added for Golden Girls Themed Murder Mystery Dinner to Accommodate Demand

A Golden Girls themed murder mystery dinner, titled Thank You for Being A Friend?, will premiere at Gangsters Dueling Piano Bar Tomorrow, August 31st to a sold-out audience.
“It has been a whirlwind," said Emily Widolff, the writer of the show's script. "It was one thing when we sold out the first show. I thought that there could have been 60 people who weren’t able to make it to the Brew House show, but then the first four shows sold out in three days and I was at a loss for words. We added another four shows and those sold out. I think that we are up to ten shows now and only have a total of six seats available across all of those shows.”
The experience features a dinner-theater style show that incorporates participation from the audience.
The show will break for each course of the three-course family style dinner, which allows the guests both time to enjoy their meal and focus on the performance - which is essential, as each table is a team and they must work together to solve the crime.
“The actresses we have involved with the show are amazing," Widolff said. "We have Eileen Earnest (just off her role in Drowning Girls), Alison Rampa (OTR Improv and Cin City Comedy), Catherine Davis, Elizabeth Molloy (the Know Theatre and MadCap Puppets), Lauren Woodiwiss (Mariemont Players) and Chelsea Overman. They have each have blown me away and I feel so lucky that they have chosen to work on this project."
Gangsters Dueling Piano Bar opens at 6 pm, giving guests ample time to get a drink and mingle prior to the start of the show at 7 pm. The approximate run time of the experience is an hour and a half. Afterward, guests are encouraged to stay and enjoy the dueling pianos in the bar area.
Tickets are currently available on for the newly added date of Friday, October 19, 2018. As always, tickets are going quickly.
