Police Respond to Stabbing Call in Covington, Man Arrested

One man is in jail after a reported stabbing in Covington.

It happened on West 10th Street at around 4:40 a.m.

Police responded and found one man suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

A second man was taken to police headquarters for questioning.

Police later said that Robert Willoughby, 27, a homeless man, was arrested and charged with first degree robbery and second degree assault.

Police did not identify the victim who was later released from the hospital.

Willoughby will be arraigned in Kenton District Court on Thursday morning.

This is the same block of West 10th Street where a man was shot last month.
