High School Football Playoffs: Where NKY Teams Will Play
The high school football playoffs begin next week and now Northern Kentucky teams know where they will play.
Here is a look:
Ludlow (7-3) hosts Louisville Holy Cross (4-5). The winner will play Frankfort (7-3), which earned a bye in the first round.
Bellevue (5-5) travels to Kentucky Country Day (5-5) in Louisville. The winner will play Beechwood (8-2), which got a bye in the first round.
Bishop Brossart (6-4) travels to Raceland (8-2) with the winner playing Paris (5-5), which earned a bye in the first round.
Bracken County (6-4) visits Paintsville (8-2).
Dayton (0-9) forfeited its final game of the regular season against Carroll Co. on Friday night. The Greendevils are not in the playoffs.
Owen Co. (0-9) plays at Glasgow (9-1).
Gallatin Co. (1-8) visits Monroe Co. (3-7).
Walton-Verona (8-2) hosts Metcalfe Co. (2-8).
Holy Cross (0-10) plays at Louisville Christian Academy (10-0).
Lloyd (6-4) hosts Washington Co. (5-5).
Newport (6-4) travels to Louisville DeSales (9-1).
Newport Central Catholic (6-4) hosts Louisville Shawnee (0-9).
Holmes (4-6) travels to Ashland Blazer (9-1).
Scott (6-4) hosts Greenup Co. (6-4).
Covington Catholic (10-0) hosts Woodford Co. (2-8).
Dixie Heights (1-9) travels to Montgomery Co. (8-2).
Highlands (8-2) hosts Madison Southern (2-8). The winner faces Anderson Co. (10-0), which earned a bye in the first round.
Conner (7-3) hosts Lafayette (1-9).
Cooper (4-6) travels to George Rogers Clark (7-3).
Ryle (2-8) hosts Tates Creek (4-5).
Simon Kenton (8-2) hosts Bryan Station (2-8).
Boone Co. (2-8) visits Henry Clay (5-5).
Campbell Co. (6-4) hosts Scott Co. (7-3).
