Wynner's Cup to Close to Make Way for Second Sight Spirits Expansion
Wynner's Cup Cafe in Ludlow will close at the end of the year to make way for the expansion of Second Sight Spirits.
The cafe, owned and operated by Ludlow Mayor Ken Wynn, will close its doors on December 31.
"I really think those boys (at Second Sight) are good for Ludlow," Wynn told The River City News. "They bring national attention to Ludlow and they needed the space to expand.
"It's the best thing."
A phone call to Second Sight Spirits' co-owner was not yet returned but Wynn said that the rum distillery would take over the space starting January 1. This story may be updated.
As for Wynn, he said that he will be exploring other professional options. He worked in retail pharmacy in the same building before purchasing it and opening the cafe. Second Sight operates in the adjacent space in the same building. The NKY Fencing Academy also operates in the building.
"I'm really pumped up," Wynn said. "It's a win-win for everybody and I am at peace with it."
