
NKU Beats Thomas More, 84-47, in Men's Basketball Exhibition
Northern Kentucky pulled away from Thomas More on Tuesday night, winning 84 to 47 in a men's basketball exhibition game at BB&T Arena in Highland Heights.
The regular season begins next week.
Drew McDonald led the Norse with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Dantez Walton added 13, and Bryant Mocaby scored 11 for the win.
NKU didn't miss any of its 24 two-point field goal attempts, and hit 11 of its 29 three-point shots.
The Norse also outscored the Saints, 46 to 4 in the paint.
Damion King led Thomas More with 14 points and Brandon Horne added 13 in the loss.
NKU opens the regular season next Tuesday against Wilmington (Oh.) at 7 p.m. at home.
Thomas More opens its regular season at Emory & Henry next Friday, November 9 at 6 p.m.
