Accused Covington Murderer Arrested, to Be Arraigned Monday
The man accused of shooting and killing a woman more than a week ago at the corner of Pike and Main streets in Covington is now behind bars.
Patrick Orlando Blanchard reportedly turned himself in to police after a warrant for his arrest was announced and police asked the public for help in finding him.
Blanchard, 32, is being held at the Kenton County Detention Center on $1 million bond. He is charged with murder.
Police believe that Blanchard fired the gun that killed Natasha Henderson, 35, who was found dead at the scene on Sunday, Dec. 30.
David Vaughn, 24, was also arrested in connection with the shooting. He is believed to have served as a getaway driver. Vaughn is also being held on $1 million bond at the Kenton County Detention Center and is expected to appear for a preliminary hearing in Kenton District Court on Tuesday.
