A woman was found dead in a Covington alley on Wednesday, police confirmed to The River City News.
Police do not view the death as suspicious, Covington Police Chief Rob Nader said.
The woman was found dead in an alley near 21st and Garrard streets.
She may have been homeless as a shopping cart full of goods was nearby, Nader said.
The woman's body was also near discarded needles, police said. Police are waiting for results of an autopsy to determine the woman's cause of death.
The woman's identity and age were not known yet on Sunday afternoon.
