Photos: NKU's Home Win Streak Ends, Senior Night Spoiled

Northern Kentucky's home win streak was ended at 20 after lowly Cleveland State rolled into Highland Heights and beat the Norse, 83-77 on Saturday night.

The loss spoiled senior night and the final home game for seniors Drew McDonald and Zaynah Robinson.

A 9-0 run by Cleveland State (9-21, 4-13) in the second half put the game in jeopardy, 65-58, with 7:18 to play.

With the loss, NKU falls to 21-8 on the year and 11-5 in the Horizon League. The Norse are now a full game behind league-leader Wright State (18-11, 12-4) with two games left to play in the regular season.

McDonald led the Norse with 22 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. He needs just two points to have 2,000 in his NKU career and is 9 points away from being the school's all-time leading scorer.

The Norse head to Wisconsin for the final two games of the regular season. On Thursday, NKU plays at Milwaukee, and then heads to Green Bay on Saturday.
