NKU Escapes Milwaukee with 10-Point Win, Now Tied at Top of Horizon League

Northern Kentucky used a strong second half comeback to win at Milwaukee on Thursday night, 65-55.

On the same night, Wright State lost at Green Bay, creating a first-place tie in the Horizon League standings between the Norse and the Raiders.

The two teams' swap opponents on Saturday, with NKU traveling to Green Bay and Wright State heading to Milwaukee to wrap up the regular season, with the Horizon League regular season title on the line.

NKU (22-8, 12-5) was down by eight points in the second half, but mounted a comeback using two separate scoring runs of 12 and 9 to pull away. The Norse were led by Jalen Tate, who scored 18. Chris Vogt added 16, Dantez Walton scored 13, and Tyler Sharpe added 10 in the victory.

NKU plays Green Bay on Saturday at 1 p.m.
