
Thomas More Comes Back to Advance to NCAA Quarterfinals

The top-ranked Thomas More women's basketball team struggled early in Saturday's second-round game against Trine.
The Saints trailed 19-6 after the first quarter and were down 31-20 at halftime.
But the second half was all Thomas More.
The Saints were on top at the end of the third quarter, 48-43, and ultimately won the game, 67-59.
Madison Temple led the Saints with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Shelby Rupp added 19 points and 18 rebounds. Emily Schultz scored 11.
Thomas More is now 29-0 and moves on to the NCAA Tournament's quarterfinals. Trine's season ends at 26-3.
The Saints will play Transylvania next Friday. The location will be released on Sunday afternoon.
