Children's Law Center Announces Celebrity Dancers for Annual Competition

The Children's Law Center announced the lineup for its seventh annual Dancing with the CLC Stars fundraiser and competition.

This year's event is Thursday, May 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Receptions Event Center in Erlanger.

The show is inspired by Dancing with the Stars, and features a local person paired with a professional dancer from the Arthur Murray Dance Center.

Proceeds benefit the Children's Law Center, a Covington-based nonprofit legal service center that serves disadvantaged and vulnerable youth in the region.

Contestants are not only judged by their dance moves but also by how much money they can raise. Each dollar raised by contestants will count as one vote from the public.

The contestants this year include Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law professor Sharlene Boltz, Select Psychological Services clinical psychologist Dr. Jean Deters, Greater Cincinnati Foundation philanthropic adviser Laura Menge, Seven Hills Women's Health Centers OB-GYN Dr. Michael Gerwe, Fidelity Investments high net worth service associate Zach Holbrook, and Messer Construction operations vice president Nick Rosian.
