State Democratic, Republican Candidates to Be in NKY this Week
Candidates from both major political parties seeking election this year in the statewide races will be in Northern Kentucky this week.
Campbell County Democrats, the Northern Kentucky chapter of the Women's Network, and the Northern Kentucky Education Association Retirees will present Democratic candidates on Tuesday, March 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Campbell County Extension Services Office (3500 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring). Highland Heights councilwoman Rene Heinrich will emcee.
Gubernatorial candidate Adam Edelen is expected to attend along with representatives from his opponents' campaigns (Andy Beshear and Rocky Adkins).
Attorney General candidate Greg Stumbo, Secretary of State candidates Jason Griffith, Heather French Henry, and Geoff Sebesta, Auditor of Public Accounts candidates Sherri Donahue, Chris Tobe, and Kelsey Hayes Coots, Treasurer candidates Michael Bowman and Josh Mers, and Agriculture Commissioner candidates Robert Haley Conway and Joe Trigg are also expected to attend.
On Wednesday, March 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Southgate Community Center (301 W. Walnut St., Southgate), Republican statewide candidates will visit.
The program is hosted by Northern Kentucky Young Republicans and Campbell County Republicans.
A full list of candidates expected to attend was not available, but the candidates will range from governor to agriculture commissioner, according to a news release.
