Former Holmes Star James "Beetle" Bolden Heads to Alabama

Former Holmes High School basketball star James "Beetle" Bolden announced this week that he is leaving West Virginia and transferring to Alabama.

Earlier this month, Bolden tweeted his plans to depart Morgantown and head coach Bob Huggins's team.

Bolden is classified as a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining at Alabama.

Last season, Bolden averaged 12.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game, in eighteen games for the Mountaineers. He has shot 40 percent from the 3-point line for his college career.

At Holmes, Bolden led Holmes to the second round of the 2013 Kentucky Sweet 16.
