Covington Catholic Students Accepted to Governor's Scholars, State Arts Programs
Nine students from Covington Catholic High School were accepted into the 2019 Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program and the Governor's School for the Arts.
The GSA students are:
Students were evaluated in areas of service, extracurricular activities, academics, and writing submissions against top level students from all around Kentucky. They are now invited to participate in the 5-week residential program this coming summer on one of three host campuses in Kentucky.
The 2019 Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts students are:
Luke Eisner (Vocal Music)
Garrett Kirpes (Architecture and Design)
Robert McBride (Visual Art)
Three additional students were named as alternates: Christopher Stegman (Visual Art), Garrett Kirpes (Visual Art), and John Lawrie (Piano).
The 2019 GSA program will be held this summer at University of Kentucky.
