Two from NKY Appointed to State Boards by Governor
Governor Matt Bevin appointed two Northern Kentuckians to state boards and commissions, his office announced on Monday.
Boone and Gallatin County Commonwealth's Attorney Louis Kelly was appointed to the Kentucky State Corrections Commission,
Kelly, of Union, will represent Commonwealth's Atorneys through February 17, 2021.
The Kentucky State Corrections Commission awards all grant money to community corrections programs. Additionally, the Commission develops and implements a statewide strategic plan for community corrections programs.
Colleen Rene Bray was appointed to the Animal Control Advisory Board.
Bray, of Burlington, will represent the Kentucky Animal Control Association through February 26, 2023.
The Animal Control Advisory Board makes recommendations to the Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture relating to animal control issues, evaluating applications for disbursement of animal care and control funds, establishing shelter standards and creating training programs.
