Party in the Fort Returns to Fort Mitchell
Party in the Fort returns for a summer kick-off on Saturday.
The event is hosted by the cities of Fort Mitchell and Lakeside Park this year.
It runs from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at the Diocesan Catholic Children's Home at 75 Orphanage Road.
The family-friendly event will have activities and entertainment for all age groups, with food and drink available for purchase.
The headline band is local favorite Naked Karate Girls.
“We are excited to partner with our neighbors in Lakeside Park to bring this event back again this year and are grateful for the support that our businesses have extended without which this event would not be possible.” said Ft. Mitchell Mayor Jude Hehman.
“St. Elizabeth Healthcare is happy to partner once again with our friends in Ft. Mitchell and Lakeside Park on this community event,” said Stephanie Bogenschutz of St. Elizabeth Healthcare. “The festival will help facilitate more opportunities for residents to get involved in helping to make Northern Kentucky a healthier community.”
More than three thousand people are expected to attend.
The event’s proceeds will be donated to local community non-profits including Live Well Fort Mitchell and DCCH.
